Lauryn Barnett

Lauryn started off at a young age teaching dance to children under 12 and kickboxing to adults through community education. She focused on her college studies, earning a Bachelor's in Science for Criminal Justice from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Master's in Social Work from Wayne State and then her family, which she is the mother of two daughter, and she got away from fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Then 7 years ago she had enough and found her love for fitness again through Pilates and barre classes, which inspired her over 5 years ago to complete her training in both Pilates, barre, Piloxing, and aerobic kickboxing.
Lauryn shows every client that they are capable and beautiful no matter what their age or shape.
Lauryn lives in Clarkston with her two daughters and works as an Intensive Probation Officer for Specialty Courts. She enjoys the outdoors, running after her active daughters, and taking all sorts of different fitness classes. She is excited to join the Method Barre team and looks forward to bring an upbeat and positive energy to every class.
